I cannot be clear enough. I do not wish to impose costs (i.e. harm) upon any person without damn good reason. I want a safe world where people, especially children can explore, grow and have fun in comfort and safety. If I ever have hurt I should make reparations.
I wish to compare the crime to which I pleaded guilty in April 2020 and the costs (i.e. harm), with driving. I am not counting personal offence; that rests in people’s heads, and if people are offended by concepts, those costs are merely a construct of the mind, like getting stiff about people using certain words, not wearing a hijab, performing witchcraft, supporting Celtic or being Jewish. Haters gotta hate. The first question is the exception. I will ask the question, and in the following three columns give either a YES or NO answer. These answers, for the sake of simplicity, are ‘generally’. There will no doubt be exceptions to the rule. I can only speak for my own offence and ones very similar too it. My offence was ‘making indecent images of children’. According to the forensic report (Comissioned by the police) I had never accessed those images for the 20 months they had been on a hard drive. I want to imagine. Say I did exactly the same thing again. Transferred 9 image files off some drive, saved them to another drive and never looked at them. Say I looked at them every day?? What would the damge be compared to driving perfectly legally, and driving illegally?, for example speeding or having worn tyres. Please think about it.
