Steve Kidd's Diary: Party Pictures

Back in the 1980's I started DJing after being put in charge of the social side of Pontefract Rugby Club, and because I wanted to hear Geno by Dexy's Midnight Runners more often. During the Miner's Strike I started at Pontefract Labour Club, my first couple walked in at 9 PM on a Saturday Night, 6 weeks later 600 people paid to get in. At least that's what I tell people. Miner's Strike!

All these pictures are taken from slides that have no date mark, people I loved I've forgotten their names, hence I'm kind of at sea with labeling them.

Nowadays all these would be deleted (especially the selfies), and there would be 1000 for every one of them, but this was before mobile phone cameras were even a thing, but whatever, I've digitised them, chucked the originals in the bin (I'd not looked at them for 20 years) and put them here.

Any help with identification of people, places and dates would be appreciated
