The first scanned image placed on this site is a letter sent to the club members by Steve Kidd after 8 weeks in Ward 4 of Pontefract General infirmiary as was. Overarching memories of that particular soujourn include no hospital staff wanting to push Steve onto the Veranda because the traction apparatus jutted out wider than the doors. Bowmer found a hackswaw, chopped of the offending bits and Steve had a summer getting a sun tan (apart from on his right leg)
