Steve Kidd at The Rustic Arms, Ackworth

I worked at The Rustics for about 9 months in 2012 and had a thoroughly lovely time. I can honestly say that

I always tried my very hardest to give what I could for this pub, doing a quiz on a Wednesday night and a music~karaoke thing on a Thursday,

That I have always been scrupulously honest and ridiculously generous and

I would look on my last two nights as as good as I, or anybody for that matter, could have delivered.

There was an occasion around Christmas 2013, when I saw Mark and Caroline near St Giles in Pontefract town center. I smiled, put my hand out and said something along the lines of "Happy Christmas, are we gonna be friends now?" He replied "Not a fucking chance"
