Round Four Review

The Graduate, York: Beautiful Place, Beautiful People

Four established players contested the closest set of games yet. Three out of the four sets of questions were bespoke, and the fourth was excellently edited. Of couse you have to watch the films to get the full awesomeness of what went down.

It would be grand if contestants could nominate their best questions, answers and buzzers, via the facebook page.

Best Question

IMHO.. This was the strongest set of questions so far. In retrospect I can see actually how good so many of them were, many of them little works of care and good research, delivered beautifully. I'm not sure which my favourites were, I liked so many, but if I had to pick one out I'm going to give my vote to Daniel's "Kick-start" in that it had the following attributes

a) Lot's of different ways to get the answer
b) A very current reference
c) The inclusion of two cultural icons, one funny (Zac Braff) and one awesome (Chuck Norris).
d) Perfect structure

I really hope a few 'quizzers' see this round and overcome their dissonance regarding the validity of what we are doing here.
