Another perfect room for the quiz, upstairs at Mark Preston's home pub, the room we had was bigger than the pub downstairs (which stood bang opposite Lisa Stansfield's old house).
Along with Mark and Martin Pampel, the notable traveller was the awesome Chris Curtis who, fresh from his Quiz League of London buzzer victory drove up from nigh on Oxford to take the test. Have a look at the films to see if he passed!

Another another name on the winner's board! I think the greatest relief I have ever enjoyed was getting my first point against Chris. Back in the day I used to watch people at Fastest Finger and he was the best I had come across, so I knew he was going to be a tough nut to crack, combining great knowledge, amazing speed yet measured and appropriate restraint. A damn safe pair of hands, and a fantastic set of questions to boot.
