Basicaly if a train hits the buffers at Liverpool Lime Street Station the glasses rattle in the pub
Usual start time, entry fees and rules, 1 PM £15 on the day but £5 in advance with a set of questions with all monies go into the prize fund
Fastermind
The end of year Fastermind contest at Pontefract will be wonderful. Several sets are complete with a couple to do, For the full details click here. All contestants will be involved in all questions, and I really would like to get a few hundred quid for Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), an important and effective charityTrip to Amsterdam
On Sunday 26th January I will be embarking on one of P&O's fabulous mini-cruises to Amsterdam and I would like to hold the 2014 QU12 championship on board. The competition was last held in 2008 when Mark Kerr beat Diane Hallagan, Pat Gibson and Kevin Ashman in a truly incredible competition. The prize will be £100 plus qualification for the LSQ 2014 final
