Christmas finale: Fastermind

For the last game of the year it will be a Fastermind event at Ponty Rugby Club on Sunday 29th December. What happens is everybody picks a specialist subject. One week before the event I will publish the subjects, to give everyone a chance of some last minute revision on, for example, Kinsley dog racing stadium 1952-63. On the day it is everyone on the buzzer, and all in with the questions. I will ask 15 questions on each specialist subject and it will be the usual rules of two for a correct buzz, one away for an incorrect interruption except I will double points for correct buzzes on your own specialist subject. After the specialist rounds there will be at least 100 general knowledge questions.

I can cater for 24 buzzerers and it will be all on film forever.

It is an expensive £20 a person, but all monies will go to Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), a charity that appears to be the one where the highest proportion of donations go to the coal face. For each entrant I will add £5. I would be so happy to get stung for £120
