Tournament 5 'London Championship' Sunday 27th September
Results
A slightly different format for this round, with a view to what'll be happening next year. I set eight rounds with 30 questions each, demarcated by subjects. They were:
- Arts, Architecture, Food, Language and Literature
- Celebrity, Crime, Current, Business, Fashion, Froth and Lore
- Film, Radio, TV and Theatre
- Geography
- History, Biography, Myth, Politics
- Science, Maths, Nature, Technology
- Sport, Games and Pastimes
- Music
Three rookies participated, and what a pleasure it was to be entertained by Margaret, Bren and Steve. I will make sure Steve isn't floating in and out of the frame next time.
For the second time in three tournaments after a billion questions there were two people tied at the top for the money. I'll let you watch the films to see what happened, I completely screwed up the scoring on the day and was dreading publishing the revised results. Whatever, here are the films (Click here!). I'm not there yet, but there are still a stack of questions to play along with
Don't forget, I am limiting these things to 15 slots in future, mainly for ease of management. Don't worry, if you are reading this and want to come along, please do so, and I will endeavour to fit you in somehow, but we may have to squeeze a bit here and there. For the moment first dibs will go to people who confirm first on the facebook events pages

It's a fabulous little pub, we get the upstairs (heated!) and it's home gig for Mark Preston
We'll be going back to rotating question masters, this time with 30 questions each. The handicaps are really kicking in now, and I would like to average out 240 questions for the official tourney, to keep them consistent
The special trophy will be for a round featuring FA Cup winning teams and towns. THIS IS NOT A FOOTBALL ROUND! The answers just contain the names of football teams
