Jack Bennett lighting up the place, I mean I don't know how the films are going to turn out yet, but I just love to watch him 'at the crease', as it were, today he came late, like a true prima donna, and just tore into every set from the get go, combining speed and knowledge which, for me even more so than his Quizzing performances and University Challenge appearences has indicated the true potential of the progidy. He was not afraid to neg. (was that too much???)
Mark Laycock managing the cameras throughout the afternoon, It makes things so much easier, and it he is definitely more "on top of it" than I could ever be. For the first time it seems I have matching films for every camera!
Mark Laycock getting back to back medals, with an awesome performance In Bruges last month followed by the qualifying tilt of a lifetime today when he trounced the opposition in what seemed to be the pool of death
Drax's bounty bar may be the best piece of confectionary I have ever had, all things considered, and I pray to God he doesn't qualify for QU12 so he can set and ask questions, the former being perfect for me, but the latter perfect for the films
Michael McPartland's Star Wars quiz was just perfect (yes, I should have had more buzzers, my bad), and his ability to pick up a ball and run with it on the admin side makes me happy, but scared
I like pooling, but it is relatively complex and a little distracting
The special was Michal McPartland's "Star Wars answers" Quiz which I didn't film, but was, nevertheless, wonderful (Tony Walmsley and Steve Kidd won the medals)
