Round Eleven Report, Round Twelve and Final

QU12 2007 Round Eleven was held at The Telegraph, Orchard St , Newcastle Upon Tyne, Click Here for a map. It was a late change of venue - Unfortunately although I found a venue (The Railway Hotel, Prestonpans) in Scotland, I could not find a quiz league, a pub quiz or any players so, if you are from Scotland and love quiz, give us a call and tell me where I went wrong!

Anyhoo, Newcastle gave us perhaps the best quiz yet in terms of the combination of quality players, good crack (as usual) and an impossibly exciting quiz. I have been pondering over the result for the last few days, thinking "That didn't go to plan" - which, in a way, is precisely what the plan was - to throw up agony and ecstacy in its own little way. I will not tell you the result right here, watch the films first. Do not go to the betting at the bottom of the page if you don't want a clue as to the result.

QU12 2007 Round Twelve is only eleven days away at the time of writing, and for once there are seven people with their names down already, namely: Mike Abbott, Trevor Montague, Chris Curtis, Tim Westcott, Catherine Searl, Keith Marshall and Mike Foden. This will be your last opportunity to be a founder participant in what is the best ever quiz on film (Or at least nobody has taken time indicate what might be the best if this is not - Join 123quiz if you wish to discuss), so for the last time,'phone if you want a place. It will be at1:00 P.M. on Sunday 9th December 2007 at

The Kidlington Police Club,
Thames Valley Police Headquarters,
Oxford Road,
Kidlington,
Oxfordshire,
OX5 2NX

QU12 2007 Final will be take place after the last round, at about 3 P.M. The line up is stellar, cosmopolitan (is that a contradiction in terms?), and as you can see from the betting, wide open. If you disagree, have a bet. Unlike some I will put my money where my mouth is.

Watch the films at:

You Tube for rounds 1 to 8 inclusive.

Blip TV for rounds 9 to 11.

I'm sorry to have two different sources - one day I will transfer them all to Blip TV where you can watch entire parts in much better definition. (Yes, I know I went cheap on 11 02 this week!)
