It is half way between Huddersfield and Wakefield just off the A642, near as dash it 3 km due north of Emley Moor transmitter, the tallest man made free standing structure in the British Isles, 15 minutes from junctions 39 or 40 from the M1 or junction 25 of the M62. On a day to day basis you don't notice your kids growing up, but suddenly you notice that they are different from a year ago. Likewise QU12. For the inaugral game in my home town of Pontefract last year I was ringing round two days before asking if people wanted to play. Unfortunately for aspiring contestants who have not yet booked in for the Grange, Grange Moor on March 16th, their are no places left in the Pop Quiz, but as of Sunday 9th there is a vacancy for one team (I am hoping Wharfedale will bring a threesome, but whatever. .). There will be a Sport Relief Mile quiz around the village for anybody who fancies some fresh air.
