Who said thirteen was unlucky? Thirteen players from all over England, thirteen games, the best part of 400 questions (I haven't counted them all). I love buzzer quizzing, but the best thing about this GREAT quiz was the people who went. Mark Preston, Martin Pampel, Steve Rhodes, Daniel Fullard, Debs McDonald, Michael McPartland, Clive Dunning, Mark Laycock, Chris Curtis, Elliet Smorthit, Vince O'Connor and Sam Roberts, there isn't one of you I don't want to hug, even though that would be incredibly awkward. You are like a cake stand with Eclairs and Merangues and Pistacho Ice cream and creamed mushrooms and prawns and melted cheese and all different but great things on. I've said it before and I'll keep saying it. If there is an open quiz on film which comes close to this in terms of inclusivity, content and fun, let me know about it. (And don't remind me there are ones with slightly better production qualities!)
I suppose kind of good news for me is that we can look forward to not worrying if there is going to be a quorum, and that I am limiting these things to 15 slots in future, mainly for ease of management. Don't worry, if you are reading this and want to come along, please do so, and I will endeavour to fit you in somehow, but we may have to squeeze a bit here and there. For the moment first dibs will go to people who confirm first on the facebook events pages
